This medium sized campsite in Nor Cal was so fun! We had over 60 family members camping for 3 days. We spent one whole day in canoes going down the Russian River. The canoes were about $60 and they could fit 3 adults each. (or one adult and 3 kids) It cost $10 a person per night for the campsite.
On the Russian River, there are private beaches and personal docks all along the way. We had water wars with each other and people on the beach. It was funny! The best part was canoe tipping… I feel sorry for all the foggy/lost cameras and soggy property. HAHA.
I recommend this location for families and groups of friends to go for one weekend. The trees hid everything around you and the grapevines were beautiful along the side of the roads. It was a truely a fun time away from the city and getting into nature. I loved it and can’t wait to go back next year. *but we need a little rain so that river gets going a little more
