The Belkin booth was a scaled down version of the CES booth. It still had a 2nd floor and the live band, but it was much more compact. The booth featured an Audi TT for our iPod accessories and Laptop@Homebags. The overall reaction was how “Ikea” it all looked… but fact is, we didn’t use anything from Ikea. However, our message was a huge success … “Belkin fits in your environment.” Designers and end-users were truely amazed and we had many returning visitors toward the end of the show. MacWorld is a fun little show.

MacWorld 2008 started off with a key note presentation by Steve Jobs. Apple announced the MacBook Air. It is super light weight and truly way too thin be a laptop. But it only had 1 USB drive … which is good for Belkin because we have the USB hubs! Whooo!
