Everyone knows Hermosa Beach Pier is loaded with bars to hang out. I finally visited Dragon for the first time. We went on a Sunday night, where they featured Trance and House music. There was a $5 cover charge, but well worth $5. The bar is pretty easy to access, however, when it gets crowded, the employees force people to move aside to make an aisle. Don’t get run over by those guys and their bright flashlights. There is plenty of room for dancing in the back and next to the dj stage.
There is a patio area outside where you can smoke or chill out and talk. They provide heat lamps if you get cold easily. We went purely for drinks at the bar, so I didn’t get to try the food. But its Chinese cuisine if you’re wondering.
