If you are in San Francisco and looking for a good upper class American food spot, check out Two. It’s tucked on Hawthorne Street (and Howard.) We tried a variety of new American food.
Recommended appetizers: Beef carpaccio, House Smoked Salmon, and Season Fries.
Recommended dishes: 14 oz dry-aged Prime New York Strip, Short Ribs, and Grilled Swordfish.
I had the duck dish and I really enjoyed it. Portions for dinner seem small, but we hardly finished it after eating all their yummy appetizers.
Recommended Dessert: Mini Ice-cream sandwiches!!!
We also enjoyed the Lemon Meringue Pie, and Warm Apple Pie. All really good!
Highly recommended. There is plenty of room for big groups too. And a bar if that’s what you’re looking for.
