x y z is a restaurant located inside the W San Francisco. It’t tucked in the lobby behind the x y z bar. The restaurant has an excellent assortment of tea. And for breakfast, you should try the fresh fruit drizzled in yogurt. For lunch, I recommend the chicken sandwich with some seasoned fries! So delicious! The salmon was good too. For parties of 5 or more, I recommend making reservations 1 hour in advance. This spot is very popular for business meetings and casual dining, therefore, its very busy. I really enjoyed the environment and the service was great.
If you look up from the restaurant, you will see the balcony seating of the x y z bar. There is one huge bar with lots of little seating areas. However, there wasn’t much of a view from the balcony. Be careful in the bar, there are “professionals” working the floor. We had two separate instances were prostitutes were sitting alone at the bar. But the drinks were good and the people were nicely dressed. Something about the way SF people dress… its very casual, but very stylish.

The spa of the W hotel at the 4th floor I believe is also a must-go!
