Even though breakfast seems to be the hardest thing to decide on at 9am due to lack of decent places, I’ve got spot that I might consider more often now. Egg Heaven Cafe is located on 4th St and Ximeno in Long Beach, CA. It doesn’t stand out and its a bit small, but it was a good breakfast fix. I had a glass of OJ and the Veggie Exotic Omelet (mainly rice, lentils, cottage cheese.) The portions were just right … but I would def be a little more hungry the next time I go. They have a short stack with 4 pancakes, breakfast burritos ($8ish) … most with a Mexican food twist. Interesting if you are down to explore. :D Wait: There is a bench outside … which is kinda the unspoken “waiting line” for the spot. Pricing: Kinda on the higher side. Omelets range from $6.50-9ish and dishes in general are about $8-9. Pay: Cash Only! Parking: There is no parking lot, so you will have to look for parking around the cafe. Large groups: There is a long counter to sit at, however the biggest table sits about 7 people.
