Deli News is a family owned joint that has been in Long Beach for as long as I can remember.  Just about ever CSULB student knows how good the food is and how reasonably cheap it is too.  You can get a medium 1 topping pizza for $5.  But it’s not just any pizza, it’s an Italian pizza with great quality ingredients.  Not kidding.  You can get pastas for just above $5. The portions are great and they come with garlic bread!  Mmm!  They have also remodeled the interior, so they have an Italian themed mural on the walls.  However, this is a cash only joint. 

Note: Because this is a family owned joint, the family goes on a vacation in December to visit Italy.  So, you’re outta luck during the holidays.  *More reason to take advantage when they are there.
