Sushi Studio is a very small sushi spot on PCH in Long Beach. They serve some of the most delicious sushi rolls around. Some rolls I recommend are Sunset on Second St, however, they have many creative rolls for you to pick from. I think we’ve tried almost all of them, but I never remember which one I tried, so I try them again and again. And if you are looking for a good salad with fresh fish, try the sashimi salad is excellent.
The restaurant is very small, so come early, get your name in and be prepared for a short wait. The staff is very nice and they will do what they can to get you in and seated. It’s tricky with large parties… we came with 6 and it was kinda pushing it. I recommend small groups … 4 is a good number. If you come here for your birthday, they celebrate by turning down the lights and the entire restaurant sings you a birthday song. You should try it!
It shares a lot with a small motel therefore street parking is your best bet. But the rolls are what makes this place the best sushi spot in Long Beach and the prices are cheap. They also have a great happy hour! Be there early, it ends around 6pm. *Look for coupons in local magazines because they are an additional discount for your already cheap dinner.
Great date spot. Cheap sushi. Fresh fish! Friendly staff. Awesome music!
